About Karen Tang, MD
Dr. Tang received her undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago, her MD and Masters in Public Health at Columbia University, her residency training in OB/Gyn at Beth Israel Deaconess/Harvard Medical School, and her fellowship in advanced gynecologic endoscopic surgery at Legacy Health in Portland, OR. Her areas of medical expertise include endometriosis, fibroids, chronic pelvic pain, menopause, and gender affirming gynecologic care.
She has been a practicing gynecologist for 15 years, and has trained Ob/Gyn residents at University of Miami, UPenn, and Main Line Health. She is the owner of Thrive Gynecology in the Philadelphia area, where she sees patients from across the country.
Dr. Tang has rapidly become one of the most recognized leaders in women's health, serving as a consultant for the WHO, and a sought-after speaker, advisor, media source, and brand content creator. She has a large social media following, with 700,000 followers across platforms, and millions of views every month on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
